The world's most glamorous race day. Ladies Day at Royal Ascot is renowned as the biggest day on the British social and sporting calendar! On the lawns and terraces of the Queen Anne Enclosure, you can enjoy first-rate views of the day's six races, joining the jubilant crowds as they cheer each winner home. Here you'll be at the heart of the day's activity. Close to the runners and riders in the Pre-Parade and Parade Ring and front row as the Royal Procession passes by the Grandstand.

Travel Club tickets grants access to The Queen Anne Enclosure, with access to the Pre-Parade Ring, Winners' Enclosure and Parade Ring. 

Please note that Queen Anne Enclosure entry tickets do not grant entry to the upper tiers of the Grandstand, which is reserved for Royalty and VIPs.

After the last race is over, the day reaches its climax with the iconic “Singing Around The Bandstand” experience.

 

QUEEN ANNE ENCLOSURE DRESS CODES

Ladies Dress Code – Ladies  within the Queen Anne Enclosure are required to dress in a manner as befits a formal occasion and are kindly asked to take note of the following:

• A dress or top and skirt, with shoulder or halter neck straps (lace and chiffon fabrics are permitted, no minimum length) 
• Trouser suits are welcome and should be of matching material and colour 
• Jumpsuits should fall below the knee and comply with the above strap requirements 
• A hat, headpiece or fascinator 

Ladies, please note the following are not permitted: 

Dresses and tops that are: 

• Strapless or one shoulder 
• Off-the-shoulder or bardot 
• Sheer (defined as any type of fabric that is see-through / entirely transparent) 
• Visible midriffs (defined as the mid-region of the torso between the chest and the waist) 

 

Gentlemen's Dress Code – Gentlemen are required to wear a full-length suit with a collared shirt and tie, and kindly asked to take note of the following:

• Jackets and trousers should be of matching colour and pattern.
• A tie should be worn at all times. Bow ties and cravats are not permitted.
• Socks must be worn and should cover the ankle.
• Jeans, chinos and trainers are not permitted.

Gentlemen, please note the following are not permitted: 

• Cravats, bow ties and neckerchiefs 

Please note: In addition to the guidance’s above, fancy dress, novelty and branded or promotional clothing are not permitted on site, as well as the following:

• Novelty patterns and fabrics (including, for example; slogans, phrases, promotional messaging, brand logos or cartoon imagery) 
• Trainers 
• Denim 
• Leggings 
• Shorts 

 

Overseas Visitors

Overseas Visitors are welcome to wear the formal National Dress of their country or Service Dress. If your National Dress does not include a hat or headpiece then you do not need to wear one. Religious headdress is permitted in place of a hat or headpiece.

Running order for the day will be emailed to all participants 72hrs prior to departure for UK day trips.

A valid University Student ID must be with you at all times and must be supplied/presented upon request – No ID No Entry!

 

*Drink vouchers are redeemable against 175ml glass of house red, white or rose wine, pint of draught, Peroni, Grolsch, Asahi, Cornish Orchard Cider, Meantime Pale Ale, London Pride, or Guinness or 500ml Soft Drink. Drinks are subject to change.

• Travel Club trip ticket purchases are limited to one ticket per student per trip. Multiple/extra ticket purchases for the same trip will be voided and no refund due.
